Brian has over 35 years' experience in innovative Christian education, most recently including a tenure as Head of School at the award-winning Maranatha Christian Academy in Brooklyn Park, MN.īrian commented on the hiring of Matt, "We are excited to announce Matt Marusak as Venture Academy's lower school principal. Venture Academy is overseen by a board of directors, and championed by Head of School, Brian Sullivan. He now lives in the Chippewa Valley with his wife and two young sons. Outside the classroom, Matt has fostered development and sportsmanship in student-athletes as a coach and WIAA official. He is a University of Wisconsin-Stout honors graduate and an avid outdoors enthusiast. Matt was born and raised in mid-west Wisconsin and has nine years of teaching experience in the Eau Claire Area School District. Venture Academy will chart a new course for education in the Chippewa Valley.” I'm excited about the unique vision of Venture, and I'm eager to begin building a school culture that inspires teachers to empower Christ-centered leaders and support families as we prepare the next generation.
