Download the latest Revive version (1.1.7 or newer) from here (get the ReviveInstaller.exe Installer). Buy and Install Dying Light: The Following (full game) on Steam.

I have a Rift so don't know how to set it up myself for the Vive but here are some instructions I found.ġ. I think with the vive you need to use the Revive software to get it to work on the Vive.
For me though Its just the UI and the looking thing on the right stick to do and the game for me would be very playable indeed. There are probably a few more tweeks here and there to do. For everything else you have the free look which is already enabled. It just needs some work on the UI and to remove the ability to look up and down on the controller, leaving the ability to turn left and right only. For me most of the work is pretty much done. I'm no modder and do not really have any clue how hard or easy it would be to do, but it seems to me that depending on what it is you want from your Dying Light VR experince would depend very much how much work there is for them to do. That was my suspision that the devs have dropped work on the VR mode for Dying Light. No I'm happy to play a game like this with a controller as there are all sorts of moves to pull off that would just feel strange and gimicky in a game like this if you were forced to use motion controls to pull it all off. Using them for guns though like you can in Serious Sam is great. When it comes to mele combat swinging and not having the sensation of connecting with the thing you are trying to hit just doesn't work for me. Motion controls are not, But I am ok with that. In what I have played of it free look is enabled.
